"Global Health group of companies" was founded by mastermind Siegmund Kahlbacher together with Austrian Investors in 2004 to commercialize the agent xCid on a global scale.

Global Health group´s majority shareholders are "GH HoldCo Ltd." Hong Kong. The group of companies includes "GHB Technologie Handels- und Verwertungs GmbH" (GHB) in Austria, "Global Biotech (Beijing) Co., Ltd." (GBB) based in Beijing, "GH Bioscience Sdn. Bhd." in Malaysia and "GH Hygienic Care Sdn. Bhd." (GHH) in Malaysia. Global Health has developed 7 product groups comprising over 100 different products under the brand names Global Health and Care & Safe.

The products for the retail market serve prevention and disinfection. The most successful areas of application to date have been in hospitals, hotels, personal healthcare, veterinary products, industrial applications, including the automotive and agricultural industry.
The active compound xCid is produced in Austria. Global Health group owns the xCid patents and the global distribution right for Care & Safe products based on xCid worldwide.

GBB is the licensed partner for greater China and produces Global Health and Care & Safe products for the Chinese market. "GH Hygienic Care Sdn. Bhd." produces Care & Safe products in Malaysia and operates as the exclusive trading company for the export business worldwide.
Global Health Group has license partners in more than 40 countries already, by the end of year 2015, the certification process in all those countries will be finished. By year 2016, GHB will have over 5 billion clients worldwide.
